Dr. Max Helman
The Osteopathic Medical Foundation of Michiana (OMF) named Dr. Max Helman as it's 2005 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient. This award honors Dr. Helman's many achievements in osteopathic medicine, and valuable contributions to the Michiana community during his 38-year career.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Helman
has been very active in local, state and national Osteopathic organizations. Recently he was the Secretary of the National Osteopathic Foundation. In conjunction with the Residency Program in Mishawaka he is the Past Clinical Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Family Practice of Kirksville College and Assistant Clinical Professor of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Family Practice of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Max has been past President of the Northern Indiana Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.
