Dr. Robert M. Knox

OMF's Life Service Award honors an osteopathic physician who has spent the greater part of his or her life delivering healthcare to the citizens of Michiana using osteopathic principles and practice.

The 2005 Life Service Award winner is Dr. Robert M. Knox of Edwardsburg, MI.  Dr. Knox is a graduate of Andrews University and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine and opened his solo practice in Edwardsburg in 1958. He has been the Cass County Medical Examiner since 1967 and has received numerous awards from the Cass County Sheriff's Association. Dr. Knox has also been a long-standing member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Michigan Association of Medial Examiners.

Dr. Knox exemplifies selfless service to his patients and his community. He his available 24/7 for patients which promotes high patient satisfaction. He uses Osteopathic Manipulation daily. For years he has volunteered to perform high school physicals and is a sideline physician.
