The Osteopathic Medical Foundation was founded to educate and promote osteopathic medicine and the osteopathic philosophy in the Michiana area.  In 2004, the OMF board of directors established the Physician Recruitment Program, to assist local physicians and small private practices in recruiting new osteopathic physicians to our area.

The foundation provides a one time grant of $10,000 to a new physician. A letter (indicating interest in the program, plans for setting up practice and request for financial assistance) must be submitted for the board's consideration.
